D.J Darcey
Author

The actual author name is Daniel J. Darcey. A retired navy veteran and works as a technician. I started to work on the Kingdoms and Empires in 2000 during my high school years. I wanted to experiment with genre meshing. Then I got the idea to combine my two favorite stories together into one. The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen, and The Hunt for the Red October by Tom Clancy. It was these two stories that started the spark that would eventually evolve into Kingdoms and Empires. A fairy tale in a sci-fi universe.

Kingdoms and Empires
The Great War

500 years before the rise of Princess Asora and Queen Laxur. A long peace has come to an end. The power Utopian Kingdom and the rising power of the Human Consortium are at war. History will come to know this as The Great War. The first great clash between magic, nature, science, and technology. This war will decide the fate of the realm.

Kingdoms and Empires
Uprising

A new age is dawning for the Federation. An election that will decide the course of history. Pro-Counsel Korena’s vision of the future however is not what some do not wish. As the election nears chaos breaks out across the Federation as radicals try to seize power. Korena must restore order and show that she can lead the Federation into the future.

Designing True-to-Story Book Covers

It’s always a challenge for us as designers to design the perfect cover for a book, especially when using our hand-drawing skills. The design should align exactly with the author’s vision without losing the essence of the story, and it’s crucial to ensure the characters look exactly as they are described in the narrative

Kingdoms and Empires
Wings of the Warbird

History defines a nation. A nation is shaped by its past. In this universe the vast and mighty Federation is no different. The Great Titan War rages between the Federation and its greatest rival the Feros Hegemony. A new hero of the Federation rises, D’var Eraketan of the Tenth Legion Battle Guard naval Command. He will lead the Federation to its greatest victory, and rise to become a legend. However, the threat of the Winter Queen has reached even the Federation as servants of the ancient foe threaten all life in the Federation. The newly elected Pro-Counsel D’var must face powerful ancient foes. What comes from this will shape the multiverse for ages to come.
